The Thermia Palace spa hotel together with the Irma spa house was built in 1912 in the art nouveau style to a design by A. Hegedüs and H. Böhm. In its history it has hosted many significant personalities and still remains a sought after place owing to its unique atmosphere and architectural beauty. The most interesting elements of the richly decorated interior are the unique staircase with stained glass and the great dining room.
The hotel is directly connected to the Irma spa where you will find a unique feature – a basin with thermal water springing directly from the mud on the bottom of the pool.
The hotel offers comfortable accommodation in 100 rooms and 6 apartments in two categories. Rooms in the superior category have bathrooms with bathtub or shower, satellite TV, minibar or refrigerator, telephone with direct dial, and dressing gown.

Great Dining Room with its richly decorated interior offers a culinary experience and an esthetic one. Breakfast is served on buffet tables, while for lunch and dinner we serve meals according to the guest´s choice. The menu of both domestic and foreign cuisine is enriched by vegetarian, divided and dietary meals.
For gourmets and connoisseurs we offer a choice from our wide selection of domestic as well as foreign wines. Relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee in our café, or play cards and billiards in the Joker Bar. The Night Bar with music is an attractive entertainment in the evening, while during summer a terrace by the hotel swimming pool is also available.
The Ferdinand salon is available for business or formal lunches or meetings.
